About Our Business
Aunt Dee Dee's Pet Care, Inc. is owned and operated by Diana Dowd. Diana
spent over three years professionally pet sitting as an independent contractor.
Her deep love and affection for animals prompted her to leave the corporate
world and open her own company in 2006. Her goal is for you to feel secure in
knowing that there are loving professionals taking care of your pet. Her own
furry children consist of a husky mix named Desi and three cats--Christy,
Duncan, and Hunter--as well as a small tank of guppies. BEST OF ALL--HER
FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS WERE ALL RESCUES!
Speaking of rescues, Diana is a strong believer is adopting pets. She really
feels they are very appreciative of being given a good home, and ultimately can
make a wonderful member of your family.
Diana is extremely interested in pet nutrition and the changing attitudes towards
the food that we feed our pets--and how it ultimately affects their overall health.
She loves to talk to anyone about it who is willing to listen--dry food versus wet
food (definitely wet food) and, even better, the raw food diet.
